EARLY DRAFTS is a FREE showcase of new works & works-in-progress by Bloomington performers. Open to performances of any type (dance, music, theatre, storytelling, stand-up comedy, circus arts, poetry readings, video, performance art, etc...), each showcase is sure to feature a unique mix of local talent performing short works at various stages of development.

Audience members will be given feedback forms to provide anonymous, written comments to the performers. With $3 BBC drafts and food by One World Catering, each performance event also serves as an informal reception, bringing performers and audience members together in a friendly atmosphere.

PERFORMERS WANTED
EARLY DRAFTS seeks performers of any discipline and genre to present short works (10 minutes or less) to a supportive, friendly audience. Professionals, amateurs, and students are all welcome to present works at any stage in development. EARLY DRAFTS is a non-juried showcase. There is no audition, selection process, or application fee. It's FREE!
Promote upcoming performances. Workshop new material. Meet other artists. Get audience feedback. Take risks. What do you have to lose? It's FREE!
Performances are scheduled first-come-first-served. Please reserve a time by one week prior to the performance date. To reserve your performance time, please fill out the Performer Reservation Form.
