Introduction
Windfall Dancers is Bloomington's oldest community modern dance collective. We are a fully qualified 501(c)3 not for profit organization governed by a board of directors. Windfall is comprised of a community of people who love to dance. We are always working to make sure that Bloomington has a space where the community can come together to create, learn, and enjoy dance! Windfall School of Dance
The Windfall School of Dance offers instruction in a number of dance genres and styles for both adults and children. Our teachers are hired through an audition process to make sure that our students receive the best instruction possible. We eagerly welcome adult beginners who are returning to dance after many years or who are exploring dance for the first time. We also offer advanced and intermediate level adult classes. Children's classes are offered appropriate to a number of different age ranges and skill levels.
Windfall Dancers Company
The Windfall Dancers Company is a modern dance collective, which means that each member has an equal say in making artistic decisions. We create original choreography for each of our concerts, perform our works in both formal and outreach events, and engage in volunteer work to assist Windfall achieve its fundraising and other organizational needs.
Windfall is also proud to house two youth companies, Youth Company I and Youth Company II. Youth company members have the opportunity to perform in formal and outreach events and to develop and present their own choreography. In addition, all youth company members enroll in one technique class offered through the Windfall School of Dance.
